Bianca is ONE! How in the world?! Time truly just flies by doesn’t it? I never found out the gender for either baby, but when Bianca was born I knew I HAD to give her a cake smash session. Of course, one year old birthdays are more emotional and meaningful for the parents anyways, but what a better way to remember and celebrate than with a cake smash session.

During the photoshoot, Dakota first started by taking pictures of the set with Bianca in it and then brought in the custom made birthday cake. We only had but maybe a minute before she was digging in. My little foodie! At one point she even bent down and took a huge bite right out of the top (hence the frosting around her face). She then ended her session with a quick bath.

I am obviously obsessed with these pictures and had to share the final ones I ended up picking with all of YOU! Did you really think I was going to hold out on you…

Im not really sure what inspired me to do a fairy theme, but I am very pleased with it’s turn out. If you wish to get one for your little, I highly recommend Dakota Moore of Modern Newborn Photography.
